About Guide

Yuki Nagaya

　　　

I trained in advanced technical mountaineering, skiing, climbing, avalanche safety, and the most advanced wilderness first aid at Canada’s top mountaineering school.
After graduating, I worked as a hiking guide in the Canadian Rockies.

Specializing in Hokkaido, I guide clients through each season with a deep passion for the mountains.
I believe that a mountain guide’s duty is to enhance the fascination of mountaineering.
I’m committed to providing you with an exceptional experience on your mountain adventure.

Qualifications:
  • JMGA Trekking Guide Stage Ⅲ
  • JMGA Ski Guide Stage I
  • Certification from Canada Yamnuska Mountaineering 3 month-Semester
  • Wilderness First Aid (80hrs)
  • Canada Avalanche Association ATS Level2
  • Japan Avalanche Network Level 1
